Iran artist Farshchian miniatures on display in Nakhchivan

A collection of miniatures by Iranian artist Mahmoud Farshchian has been put on display at an exhibit in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

A group of Iranian diplomats and officials joined a number of artists and cultural figures to celebrate the opening ceremony of the Farshchian exhibit at the Bahruz Kangarli Gallery of the Artists’ Union of Nakhchivan on Wednesday.

The East Azerbaijan Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance served as a co-organizer of the exhibition, which will run until November 27.

Director of the department, Mohammad Mohammadpour, gave a brief introduction to the master miniaturist, Mahmoud Farshchian, and invited Nakhchivan officials to organize similar exhibits by their artists in Iran.
